+12V - LOCATE
GROUND - BLK/RED
LOGIC-A - BLU/ORN
LOGIC-B - GRN/PPL
LOGIC-C - PPL/ORN
LOGIC-D - PPL/WHT

DIODE - 1N4004 - OR SIMILAR RECTIFIER

Special Rain Tracker Installation Notes for this vehicle:

Use the instructions included in the Rain Tracker kit until you get to step 5a. "Make the interface
connections." At that point, use these instrctions along with the diagram that can be printed above.
Return to the general instructions when the interface connections has been completed.

Some models and years may vary slightly in wire colors. Confirm wire colors with service
guide, and/or with with a multimeter.

All wiper system wires, except +12V, are available at the wiper switch. They
can usually be accessed by removing one or two access panels (Kick Panels) and,
possibly, the shrouds surrounding the steering column.

FIND +12V
For Rain Tracker power (+12V), locate a source of power hot in accessory
or run. Power source should be min. 12-16ga. wire on a 15-25A circuit. This
can be one of the +12V sources as shown on the diagram, or some other accessory
source. The cigarette lighter is often a good +12V source.

WIRE CONNECTIONS

2009 F-250
A customer installed this on an F-250 but found the Logic A and Logic B colors were reversed. Check for
this with a multimeter and/or service manual.

2007 RANGER
LOGIC-C - BRN/WHT

2007 - 2010 EDGE
Please note that these vehicles may not be compatible with the Rain Tracker. The 2011 Edge is not
compatible due the digital system running the wiper system. Check wires with a multimeter and/or service
manual.

2009 - 2013 FORD ECONOLINE VAN
GND - BLK/BLU

2008 - 2012 FORD ESCAPE
GND - BLK/BLU
Please note that we received the diagram for the 2012 from a customer that showed this wpier system. We
have not seen the diagrams for 2008 - 2011 but assume, since there was a major design change in 2008, that it has
the same wiper system as 2012. Check with a multimeter and/or service manual to verify.

The RT-40A does not utilize the FAST windings of the wiper motor. Please disregard any references
to FAST that appear in these instructions.
