Wiring Diagrams and Drawings:
2011 Toyota Sienna- Drawing applies to all application vehicles listed above. Print this.

GROUND - CHASSIS
FAST - GRN or GRY
SLOW - BLK
Special Rain Tracker Installation Notes for this vehicle:
Write the wire colors of the vehicle on the HSS drawing, and follow that
when you wire up the Rain Tracker. Use the factory drawing as a reference
to help you find the wires. Some models and years may vary slightly in wire colors.
Factory drawings can be wrong, so, confirm wire colors with a multimeter.
The wiper motor wires (FAST and SLOW) are not available coming from the
wiper switch, the connections must be made at the wiper motor.
Mount the Rain Tracker control module in the passenger compartment under
inst. panel. Find suitable power and ground. Extend the FAST and SLOW
connections to the Rain Tracker through the firewall to reach the wiper motor.
FIND +12V
For Rain Tracker power (+12V), locate a source of power hot in accessory
or run. Power source should be min. 12-16ga. wire on a 15-25A circuit. This
can be one of the +12V sources as shown on the diagram, or some other accessory
source. The cigarette lighter is often a good +12V source.
FIND CHASSIS GROUND
Find a suitable screw or bolt on the metal chassis of the vehicle to use as the
Rain Tracker ground. Scrape away paint as needed for a good connection.
Use a multi-meter to verify that the ground connection is at most a few ohms.
The cigarette lighter can also be a good alternate for ground and/or power.
WIRE COLORS
The drawing we have provided is not easily readable. We did our best to provide the proper wire colors, but be sure to test each wire before installation to verify wire function.
For the 2011 Sienna, it appears that the wires go from the wiper switch direct to the wiper motor, so this year can be installed at the wiper switch. The other years appear to go through some computer or relay network before going to the wiper motor. There's a possibility these years can be install at the wiper switch as well, but this has not been confirmed.
Hydreon Corporation makes rain sensing windshield wipers that may be retrofitted to most cars, light trucks, SUV's, and specialty vehicles. Rain Trackers are available for chassis builder applications, such as RV's or conversion vans. This page generated by vehicle data file name: toyota_sienna_11.veh
