MITSUBISHI PRECIS 87 - 94

Wiring Diagrams and Drawings:

1990 Mitsubishi Precis- Drawing applies to all application vehicles listed above. Print this.
RT-50A - GSS (Ground Side Switching)- Included with product, so print only if needed.
Troubleshooting procedure- Print out if needed.

Wire colors used in this vehicle:

+12V - LOCATE
FAST - LT-GRN/BLU
SLOW - BLU/WHT
GROUND - BLK

Special Rain Tracker Installation Notes for this vehicle:

Write the wire colors of the vehicle on the GSS drawing, and follow that
when you wire up the Rain Tracker. Use the factory drawing as a reference
to help you find the wires. Some models and years may vary slightly in wire colors.
Factory drawings can be wrong, so, confirm wire colors with a multimeter.

All wiper system wires, except +12V, are available at the wiper switch. They
can usually be accessed by removing one or two access panels (Kick Panels) and,
possibly, the shrouds surrounding the steering column.

FIND +12V
For Rain Tracker power (+12V), locate a source of power hot in accessory
or run. Power source should be min. 12-16ga. wire on a 15-25A circuit. This
can be one of the +12V sources as shown on the diagram, or some other accessory
source. The cigarette lighter is often a good +12V source.

WIRE CONNECTIONS
1987-1989, FAST - BLU/WHT and SLOW - BLU/RED.
1992-1994, We have no accurate documentation. We assume it has the
same wire colors. Verify with a multimeter before installing on these model
years.
