Special Rain Tracker Installation Notes for this vehicle:
Write the wire colors of the vehicle on the HSS drawing, and follow that
when you wire up the Rain Tracker. Use the factory drawing as a reference
to help you find the wires. Some models and years may vary slightly in wire colors.
Factory drawings can be wrong, so, confirm wire colors with a multimeter.
All wiper system wires are available at the wiper switch. They can usually be accessed
by removing one or two access panels (Kick Panels) and, possibly, the shrouds surrounding the
steering column.
SLOW WIRE CONNECTION
A customer has informed us that there are 2 YEL wires coming from the
switch. He said he used the YEL wire that was between the WHT and YEL/ORN on
the connector to get the RT-50 to work properly.
2011 - 2012 Veloster
Please note that a customer sent us a diagram for the 2013 Veloster. We assume since production started in
2011, that the model years '11 and '12 have the same wiper system. Check for this before installation.
