These instructions apply to these vehicles, which all have similar wiper systems:

ACURA LEGEND 86 - 90

Wiring Diagrams and Drawings:

1988 Accura Legend- Drawing applies to all application vehicles listed above. Print this.
RT-50A - GSS (Ground Side Switching)- Included with product, so print only if needed.
Troubleshooting procedure- Print out if needed.

Wire colors used in this vehicle:

+12V - GRN/BLK
GROUND - BLK
FAST - BLU/GRN
SLOW - BLU/RED

Special Rain Tracker Installation Notes for this vehicle:

Write the wire colors of the vehicle on the GSS drawing, and follow that
when you wire up the Rain Tracker. Use the factory drawing as a reference
to help you find the wires. Some models and years may vary slightly in wire colors.
Factory drawings can be wrong, so, confirm wire colors with a multimeter.

All wiper system wires are available at the wiper switch. They can usually be accessed
by removing one or two access panels (Kick Panels) and, possibly, the shrouds surrounding the
steering column.

WIRE CONNECTIONS
Some vehicles may NOT have the +12V at the switch. If this is the case,
for Rain Tracker power (+12V), locate a source of power hot in accessory or
run.(min.16 ga/ 10A circuit) This can be one of the +12V sourcesb as shown on
the diagram, or some other accessory source. The cigarette lighter is often
a good +12V source.
